Not an April's fool!

This is the second painting that I did. I leveraged 2 photos of the subject. The painting is a bit smaller than the first one. It is also a close-up. I love the Little Red River. It is a lovely river in Quebec. Have a great day everyone. Happy April's fool day!

Saturday

This is the last painting I did. It is from a photo that I took in St-Emile de Suffolk, it is the Red River. From my mom's place to the swimming hole in the river, there is a nice little path. I took a few pictures along the path, and used them as models for this painting.

Once completed, I realized that I would have like less of the sky showing. I am working now on a new version of the same subject matter.

FRANCAIS:
Ceci est la dernière peinture que j'ai fais. Je l'ai fais à partir d'une photo que j'ai prise de la Rivière Rouge à St-Émile de Suffolk. De la maison de ma mère, vers l'endroit qu'on se baigne dans la rivière, il y a un joli petit sentier. Les photos, sujet de ce tableau, ont été prises de ce sentier.

Une fois complétée, j'ai réalisé que j'aurais préféré avoir moins de ciel dans le tableau. Je travaille présentement sur une autre version du même sujet.
